Wanted: American nanny for an adorable four-year old. Must be able to handle a moody, brooding, sexy British boss.

I’m a single father, a lawyer and some say the most serious man in London. I’m completely focused on raising my four-year-old daughter.

Since my wife walked out three years ago, the only woman who has ever caught my eye is the strictly off-limits sister-in-law of my best friend, Autumn Lumen.

But temptation is easy to resist because Autumn is only visiting London from Oregon.

Until she moves to London. The nanny quits. And she’s the only woman for the job.

Mr. Smithfield is a stand-alone romance.

Autumn, new to London from Oregon and a live-in nanny tone Gabriel, 33-yr old single father to an adorable four-year-old, Bethany.

Gabriel, broody lawyer, had hired Autumn on for several months until his workload lessened and would be able to focus on hiring another nanny when Autumn would need to go back to start her planned job in September.

Not sure what they could offer each other once they cross lines, they live life in the moment while the waters become murkier when feelings get in the mix. This was a really sweet, romantic read with a slight age gap and a bit of steam. Single parent, I felt for him, having lived the same life; my kids’ father wanted nothing to do with my kids and left, signing over parental rights. It’s a lonely life, the author wrote the characters beautifully, weaving them together.

This may be read as a standalone, but if you want to read about Autumn’s sister, Hollie, and Gabriel’s best friend, Dexter, then pick up Mr. Knightsbridge.

More to follow with the rest of his friends in future books.

About the Author:

USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels – the kind she likes to read.

Ruined by bonk-busters and sexy mini-series of the eighties Louise loves all things sexy and romantic. There’s not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.

Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn’t have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.

She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
