Hint Wellness Tea

Hint Wellness Tea Blends

I have had the honor of being able to review some delicious teas from Hint Wellness.

Lemongrass definitely leads the notes of my pre-packed tea bags blended with honey (both of which are my main to go ingredients for any tea I consume especially when feeling under the weather.  With the Cold Care Tea though there is decaffeinated Green Tea so, knowing this helps ensure my body takes its time to heal vice doing a crash and burn with caffeine.  Very soothing cup of much needed therapy with 90mg of Vitamin C (from Asorbic Acid) that has helped my kick my cough away over the last few days.  The only part that displeased me was the last bit in my cup; very off acidic taste that I have been unable to take so, the last bit has been going down the drain vice my gullet.

The Sleep Tea by Hint Wellness comes in individual premeasured bags vice loose which ensures you do not over exceed the use of the benefits.  The Passion Flower truly stood out in the batch I had.  Subtle Orange and Chamomile.  The Catnip did make me giggle and I admit I let my cat sniff it to see if it would affect her.  Not enough to make her crazy (she is 14 1/2 yrs old ~ good luck) but, definitely peaked her interest and made her lick her lips.  Love the fact that Hint Wellness adds Stevia Leaf so, no need to add any sweeteners.  What I found interesting was that the Sleep Tea did in fact NOT make me drowsy at all.  In fact I felt alert yet, relaxed.  BUT, when I went to sleep I slept really peacefully each evening I took it.

14-Day Detox Tea

Very light loose leaf tea blend: Honey Bush, Rose Hips, Sarsaparilla, and Grapefruit is what really makes this tea so well-rounded and relaxing.  I use 1 teaspoon per 2 cups of hot water.  The tea does contain Senna so, remember to consult your healthcare provider prior to use plus, I know of several medications that are not friendly with grapefruit intake.

This tea made me very sleep!  In a gentle way though and not groggy.  As for detoxification I had no change to my regularity nor consistency but, no gloating or gassiness happened while in use.

Energy Tea Blend

This is by far the BEST tasting and smelling tea I have ever had in my whole life.  It isn’t labeled “Feel The Fire” for nothing:  Licorice, Ginger Root, Lemongrass, Orange Peel, and Peppermint is what really makes this tea amazing.  There is stevia already blended into each of the individual tea bags which are very generous in size.  I have been making each cup with 16 oz (2 cups) of hot water and it still makes a dark tea.  It does contain caffeine and has perked up my days plus, given me some rev after work.

Which of these teas would you love to try?
