Another day, another weekend, another surprise coming out of my oven 👩🍳
This one helped me use some staples in my pantry, plus my kids truly enjoyed it. While I envisioned the taste to be different afterwards, my kids said it tasted like a bagel and loved it. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 applesauce
Filling
- 1 package / 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 confectioner sugar
Optional
- 1/2 cup raisins
- Additional confectioner sugar

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs then combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and apple sauce.

Line a 15″ x 10″ x 1″ pan with waxed paper or aluminum foil. Grease and flour before pouring batter into the pan.

Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.

Prepare the filling while baking: Beat cream cheese, milk, and sugar in a small mixing bowl. Stir in raisins now if you wish to use them.

Spread on the cooled cake leaving around 1″ of space to the edges.

Roll up and dust with confectioner sugar if desired.

Yield: 10 servings. Refrigerate when not being served.
