Garnier Whole Blends
Coco Aloe Shampoo & Conditioner
I have only ever used samples of the various Garnier Whole Blends line, but they were not enough to form a full opinion of any particular one. While I am a huge fan of Garnier Fructis in general, I had not had a chance to truly experience their Whole Blends line.
So when I was asked to participate in BzzAgent‘s latest BzzCampaign to do so, I jumped on it and received full-sized bottles of each, shampoo and conditioner.
This hydrating, silicone-free formula blooms with the fresh, beachy fragrance of coconut water & aloe vera, bringing to life wholesome, refreshing care for dry hair.
As with all silicone-free shampoos, when I used it the first time, the shampoo itself was unable to truly be “shampooed” in until I added extra water directly to my shampoo saturated hair. Once the water “activated” it, I was able to massage up the lather onto my scalp. The first time using a different shampoo I lose massive amounts of hair due to the stripping of the build-up from the prior shampoo; out with the old and in with the new as the saying goes. As I stated above, this clear blue-green gel-like shampoo’s scent has a light beachy fragrance due to hints of coconut water and aloe vera.
The first day using the duo shampoo and conditioner, my hair looked limp because it was in shock, but after the second usage:
My hair was notably lighter in both color AND weight. My curls started redefining themselves because all additives had been effectively stripped (naturally) leaving natural hair, just hair!
My overall look is now less frizzy and more soft vice frazzled and fried. After the first few days of using this daily, I staggered it down to once every two to three days, dependent on my daily activity of course.
I am excited to see if the other Whole Blends are just as amazing as the Coco Aloe blend!
Light and wet are the best adjectives I can give that describe this awesome conditioner by Garnier Whole Blends! Has the same beachy scent as the shampoo; light and beachy due to hints of coconut water and aloe vera, but with an added tropical twist to it.
I noted the directions were a bit different compared to most other conditioners: After shampooing, apply a generous amount of conditioner from root to tip.
Most state just your tips or the bottom half of your hair; I loved the all-over refreshing feel of this conditioner!
No need to even comb through, it immediately softened any and all kinks and knots. After rinsing even though my hair felt thinner, due to having had the prior build-up stripped, it was strong feeling and very soft.
This duo has left my hair healthier than it has been for years! No lie, peri-menopause for several years has put my hair at quite the disadvantage. With this, I feel confident and my hair has gotten its curl back!
Results: Revealed revitalized hair that is weightlessly hydrated and moisturized!
