More Creme With Super-Hydrating Benefits.
Writing this review as the product, Cicacream, is actually out of stock on the L’Oreal site which goes to show why I am giving this a 5 out of 5 star review.
Being 40(ish) means I am already in the depths of aging skin and was looking to bring back some elasticity, but mostly hydration to my facial skin.
Used the Cicacream in conjuction with L’Oreal’s hydrating facial cream as part of my beauty regimen for my aging skin every morning and evening while completing a 4-week challenge to find results.
The Cicacream is much thicker than other facial creams; more aligned with cremes in my opinion. Even though it is thicker than I am used to, the bottle size is generous and a little does go along way. This cream is super-hydrating and facial skin is notably more hydrated. Skin immediately absorbs it with no irritations having occurred. Scent is light and I cannot pin-point what it reminds me of; not really citrus, but very close to that in scent.
It may be the key ingredient, Tiger Grass (Centella Asiatica) that gives this cream it’s unique scent. Tiger Grass is used in beauty products due to its restorative properties that help repair the skin’s barrier and strengthen skin to resist signs of aging. I admit, I looked it up due to never having heard of it before. Legend has it that tigers would roll against this unique plant to help their skin recover from battles.
