Explore, Dream, Discover

The sun is shining, the waves are beckoning, and summer is in full swing!

Take that trip to Hawai’i you have always dreamed of.  Pick up “The Alchemist” and get lost in Santiago’s journey from Spain to Egypt.  Host a traveler and be tourists together in your own city.

The July box is full of snacks with traditional summer flavors like strawberry and caramel, but also some new ones I hope will delight your taste buds.

Have a fun and adventurous July!

Ocean’s Halo Coconut ~ Wafers of toasted seaweed layered with flakes of toasted coconut; supposedly both savory and sweet.  Seaweed is the dominant flavor of these even with notable coconut underlying your taste buds, the seaweed is strong but, not overly strong.  Not bad but, not great either; eating up to two wafers at a time would be my limit and, yes, I am a fan of seaweed.

N.B.T.F. Nothing But The Fruit ~ Tiny square fruit chews “naturally flavored with other natural flavors”.  Each bag is one whole serving of fruit that has been picked, pureed and processed.

Concord Grape

Raspberry Chia

Cosmos Creations Salted Caramel Premium Puffed Corn ~ Literally caramel melting in your mouth; the popcorn portion quickly dissolved at a satisfying rate upon chewing crunchily way.  States “made with sea salt” however, no salty aftertaste was noted which is good because I am not a fan of salty flavored anything.

Fior Di Frutta Apricot ~ Organic fruit spread sweetened with apple juice.  I won a whole jar of this last December and it was the apricot one also.  A total of 3 pounds of fruit is processed per 8.82 oz jar; chunky, sweet, delicious real fruit spreads.

Teddy Soft Bakes by Nabisco ~ Had been wanting to try these out and both my youngest son and I were pleasantly happy with the resultant taste-test.  No artificial flavors of colors; tasted like a just melted chocolate filled baked good.  Quite a large size and two can easily share one of the Teddies.

Dick & Jane Educational Snacks ~ Having had the Presidential cookies before, I was continuously pleased with the States & Capital cookies.  Great size and tastes like a vanilla cookie; very hard and crunchy so, be mindful of orthodontic gear.

Lollipop ~ Organic Smashed Strawberry Lollipop; not overly sweet but, kids thought it tasted more like cherry vice strawberry.

EveryDay with Rachael Ray 30-minute meal mini-cookbook ~ 30 fast and fun recipe with a vibrant picture of the end-product for each item plus, easy to follow directions.
