March 2017

Happy Go Lucky

2017 is already off to a delicious start, but March is going to be a very lucky month for all snackers.  Worry a little less, smile a little more and just see where this lucky month takes you!

@WisePopcorn ~ 0.5 oz pack of Popcorn:  30% reduced fat, sea salt, air popped, gluten free, whole grain and 70 calories per bag.  I am not a big fan of overly salted or buttery popcorn so, this fit right up my alley.

@Hippeas_Snacks ~ 1 oz pack of Vegan White Cheddar flavored Organic Chickpea Puffs:  I am not a fan of Cheetos which these liken to but, puffier and much tastier in my opinion.  Fiber comes in at 3 grams and protein at 4 grams with 8% DV Iron too.  Gluten-Free, Kosher, Vegan and Non-GMO.

@TastyBrand ~ 1 oz pack of their Emoji-Shaped Chocolate Cookie.  Around the size of a quarter each they are a bit on the crispy side but, naturally chocolate flavored.  Organic, Non-GMO and free from artificial ingredients and high fructose corn syrup.  Six cool shapes that my kids really enjoyed.

@TorieAndHoward ~ 1.27 oz packet of “Chewie Fruities”; organic candy chews in assorted flavors.  Think Starbursts but, a bit less hard, still chewy and super fruitilicious!  Flavors:  Pomegranate & Nectarine, Meyer Lemon & Raspberry and Blood Orange & Honey.  My youngest so loves chewy candy and he has definitely taken a liking to these.

@EnstromCandies ~ Almond Toffee Milk Chocolate bar:  110 calories of confectionery deliciousness.  Perfect for those sweet moments in life.

@18Rabbits ~ A Mango-Strawberry 1 oz organic granola bar.  I am already a fan of 18 Rabbits’ products but, this was the first time trying out their granola bars.  Mangoes, Chia, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Strawberries and Whole Grain Oats.  As per my youngest son; “Mmmmmm delicious!”.  I did taste test a bit of it myself though; more dense than a Quaker granola bar but, less dense than a ZBar from Clif Kidz.  I do not recommend these bars for those with orthodontic appliances, much to my eldest son’s chagrin.  Taste was delicious with the fruit and notable oats being the lead.

Monbana ~ Chocolat Salon De The:  A traditional chocolate drink made with 32% de cacao from a company, Monbana, I have honestly never heard of.  Made a nice smooth and rich cup of hot chocolate that I had my boys share.

Bali’s Best ~ Espresso Candy, the original coffee candy!  Came with two of their tasty lozenge-sized coffee flavored candies, each individually wrapped.
