Finesse ~ Restore + Strengthen

Damage from the sun, heating products, color treatments, chemicals and environmental factors.

Stress from finances, work, relationships, kids and life in general.

Age and perimenopause.

What do these all have in common?

Hair that is lack luster, damaged, dry, frizzy and half gone.  Winter has wreaked havoc and now it is time to restore the health of mine (and yours) hair!

While I personally do not follow celebrities nor what they endorse I was intrigued to find that sisters, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, have been longtime users of the brand, Finesse.  One thing I give those two is they do have beautiful hair; quite the opposite of mine.

Finesse was launched in 1982 and, to this day, has always maintained its signature creamy, highly moisturizing shampoos and conditioners plus, its clean, fresh scent.

As with all hair care lines the brand has a slew of products designed for different hair types and conditions.  For testing purposes I was sent their “Restore + Strengthen” Shampoo and Conditioner; for hair that is dry, stubborn and sometimes frizzy.  Good choice, right?  Designed to replenish natural moisture leaving hair healthier, stronger and more alive by using active proteins for visibly softer, silky, smooth and easy to style hair.

After the first few washes, the impact of these restorative formulas brought the body back into my hair; the curls and waves are soft and smooth looking vice frizzy and dry.  Now halfway through both AND dying my hair my hair is so much healthier which is perfect timing seen as I will be bed-ridden for the next few weeks after surgery this coming Monday, 27 March.  We all know our hair goes flat and dull during these times so, having healthier hair before ensures less of an impact than going into it with overly-damaged hair.

Very excited and amazed at the resultant transformation of my hair; planning on continuing the regimen when I can get more from my local stores but, I will be adding a bit of argan oil to the shampoo only due to post-surgery.  Readily available at the following stores: Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, and grocery chains such as Kroger, Shoprite, HEB, and Publix.

Does your hair need restoration and strengthening after the winter season?
