Glass Grolsch Bottles

16-Ounce Grolsch Style Clear Glass Bottles By Brew Brothers

I have been dabbling in making various household items with the focus on cleaning products and a little bit into beauty products.  One of the things I have learned is to never pass up a great opportunity to try out containers; I normally up-cycle containers from other products.  The case of 6 – 16-ounce clear glass Grolsch style bottles by Brew Brothers was perfect to bottle up my homemade fabric softener to be able to jazz up some sample bottles for others to test out!

These bottles are built to last; thick, lead free, BPA free, and perfectly symmetrical.  They are shipped with each one encased in bubble wrap and the swing tops, caps and gaskets separated.  Of note is that they send extra gaskets so, you get a total of 12 gaskets in your shipment.

These are the perfect bottles for those that brew homemade beer or even Kombucha; I have some friends that bought these for this specific purpose and loved them too.  As for me, as I stated earlier, I am using these for fabric softener.  They are completely reusable and dishwasher safe; easy to air dry out.

Installation of the swing top is a pain as always for me because I end up forgetting how to install them at first glance and it takes me a bit to do it.  Once I remember, they are easy to install; place the prongs on each side of the bottle into the grooves, stopper on top, swing down the lever.  Voila!  I have been using chalkboard stickers to label mine; they stick to the bottles perfectly and jazz them up too.  Pouring into is simple and have had zero leaks once gasket and top are securely in place.

I recommend these Grolsch styled glass bottles for various items:  Homemade beer, teas, fresh juice, milk (made from dry or fresh from the cow, etc), salad dressing, vinaigrette, oils, you name it!  Very versatile and well-made bottles.

Disclosure:  I received these bottles discounted from the Brew Brothers however; this in no way influenced my review but, I chose to write this review and was under no obligation to do so. I only write honest reviews regardless of whether I purchased a product at full price, at a discount, or received it free.

Do you make any homemade items that would go perfect in these bottles?

  1. I love glass containers, especially bottles. They are safe and beautiful. I usually use them for oil and salad dressing 🙂

    1. Instead of using the flip tops, get one of those wine aerators, they would fit the tops of these perfectly and no drips either.

  2. These bottles are so nice, I’d just get the bottles and then think about what I want to do for gifts to put in them!
