Digital Mini-Multimeter

Digital Mini-Multi-Meter By Dr. Meter

Have a voltage tester however, really needed a voltmeter as I am pretty much a do-it-yourself type of person plus, being the sole bread winner (and adult) it is always good to have one handy with various projects around my house.

Size is definitely mini hence why it is deemed one though; able to fit in tool bags and kits to make it readily available. The display is back lit which helps in various situations when needed. Comes with the two test probes and is encased in a rubber case (the red part). There is also a LED on top of the unit (flashlight).

Checks Voltage (AC/DC), Current, Resistance, and Diode plus, does a buzzer for continuity. While it does not measure Watts you can measure it by multiplying Voltage and Current (remember P/I*E
Next to the LED on top is a nub which is used for Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) detection; there is a spot for a visual representation (red LED) on the display that lights when there is voltage present.

So far so good with accuracy and it uses 2 AAA batteries (not included). Unit does not automatically shut off when not in use for some time so, you must turn it physically to the “Off” position so as not to run the batteries down.
You get what you get with this though and with it being a mini it lacks the aspects (niceties) of its larger cousins per se: Removable probes, ability to use alligator clips, a kick-stand (really nice function to have due to the two-hand rule).
Niceties to have but, doesn’t hold this mini-multimeter back from what it can do and for what you need it for.
Disclosure: I received this product discounted however; this in no way influenced my review. I only write honest reviews regardless of whether I purchased a product at full price, at a discount, or received it free.
