Colombian Huila Beans By Koffee Kult
Colombian With A Smooth Finish & A Kick ~ I was on the fence with the Zimbabwe beans by Koffee Kult but, they affirmed my love for darker roasts with their Colombian roast. Their beans for this blend are from the mountain ranges of Huila which is home to Mount Huila an active volcano. Organically sourced fair trade coffee beans. Volcanic rock literally rocks making coffee beans in my opinion; I am a sucker for Kona honestly but, I digress. The beans are then roasted until they are graded 100% Arabica coffee.
The beans are consistent in color and grinded clean; did a mix of coarse and fine with my Ninja blender smoothie attachment. I have a handheld coffee grinder but, normally use that for traveling and camping purposes. Scent: The beans give off a smoky scent but, when ground there is less smokiness and a subtle undertone of cocoa. Taste when brewed: While this is a darker roast it brews into a medium to bold for me even when using their (Koffee Kult) 2 tablespoon per fluid cup rule.
It is really good with a very smooth finish and a kick. Disclosure: I received this product discounted however; this in no way influenced my review. I only write honest reviews regardless of whether I purchased a product at full price, at a discount, or received it free.
