Electric Lint Remover

Electric Lint Remover By Spigo

I love fresh looking clothes so much so that I am that person who immediately takes clothes out of the dryer to either fold or hang it up.  Reality check:  Okay, so I hate ironing and with three kids I pretty much do a load of laundry a day.  Laundry in general is a chore which I despise.  I keep the laundry and my clothes maintained ~ but, sometimes I forget what is in the wash when my kids dump theirs in.

No matter how hard you try to not get lint though it does show up and sometimes so bad you just put it on a hanger and put it in your closet because you don’t want to deal with it.  Case in point:  bras and sweaters.  I have a sweater that got mixed in with another sweater and towel and it got covered with lint.  My kids and I spent a couple months picking one side of the sweater clean as we would walk by it but, got frustrated and in the closet it went a year ago.  Yeah, quite low down on my priority list.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel though!  I have definitely put this lint shaver to work for the past few days.  My bras are lint free (no pictures provided on these so, you will just have to take my word on it), my shameful sweater (yep, just in time for summer LOL), recliner cover (how in the heck do these even get lint?!), quilts,  etc.  Pills, lint, fuzz; no more!

This lint shaver is really easy to use both in portable mode (takes 4C batteries) or when corded.  It automatically starts suctioning like a vacuum as you run the shaver across the fibers.  The shaver is 2 ½” in diameter; large swath makes quick work and is easy to maneuver into different areas.  So easy and safe to use I let my 10 year old twins have a go and have let them use this on their clothes and blankets by themselves.

Easy grip and the vibration is not enough to cause my hands to shake uncontrollably; I have cysts in both my wrist and when they get jarred to much from hard vibrations my hands involuntarily shake (weed whacker, lawn mower, really bumpy roads, etc. cause this to happen).    It is a bit on the loud side in my opinion but, the little motor inside does not get heated quickly at all neither when using  4 C batteries nor the AC adapter.  Bin does fill up quickly and to keep the suction going I clean it out a lot; comes with a brush to not only clean the shaver head but, helps with the bin too.  Bin pops out easily and the shaver head unscrews; that one does take a bit to unscrew (several riflings due to safety concerns with the three blades inside.  I just wish I had had this last year before I got rid of my kids’ lint laden travel blankets.  Disclosure: I received this product discounted however; this in no way influenced my review. I only write honest reviews regardless of whether I purchased a product at full price, at a discount, or received it free.

Do you dislike laundry as much as I do?
