Compartment Containers By Better Body Kitchen
Title is funny but, analogically correct when dealing with meal prep containers.
I have tried different kinds of containers with the following results:
Bento ~ I like these but, I find myself at a loss as to how to fill them up and use them to their fullest potential.
Triple Containers ~ Not enough room in the small ones and the lids never seemed to close correctly and stacking them was horrific
Double Containers ~ Same issue with lids
These single compartment containers are able to hold 28 oz of what I want without any spillout issues so far. The lids also stay locked on; am able to lift the entire container by the lid even when I have food inside. These have been great bringing into work for my lunch every day and fit perfectly in my lunch bag without me having to worry about spills nor leaks.
BPA Free and I would label them as semi-disposable too. These are great as an individual frozen meal container; place leftovers in them and stack nicely in my freezer. This is needed for when it is only my youngest son and I at home when my twins go out to their dad’s house on the weekends.
That being said: These can be frozen and microwaved but, I recommend a full thaw before the microwave part. While they are very sturdy it is good to be cautious sometimes. Dishwasher safe too; recommend top rack if you use the heat / drying function.
Much smaller footprint than my other meal storage containers in my cabinet.
Conclusion: Hands down these are the best containers I have personally used for meal preps and individual containers outside of Tupperware and Rubbermaid.
